KATHMANDU: Ather Energy has introduced a new concept moto-scooter called the ‘Redux’ at its Community Day 2025 event, alongside the EL01 e-scooter concept.

The company says the Redux has been built with an ‘inside-out’ design approach, aiming to blend the agility of a scooter with the performance of a motorcycle.

It is based on a lightweight aluminum frame and comes with unique features such as a 3D-printed lattice mesh seat and body panels made from a sustainable material called AmplyTex.

The concept comes with new technologies such as adaptive ride dynamics and Morph-UI, a next-generation interface that adjusts based on riding conditions and adapts to the rider’s needs. It also features a special “Take-off” mode for quick acceleration and a posture-based system that allows the rider to switch between an upright and a sporty position.

According to Ather Energy, the Redux represents a mix of mechanical and digital experiments, highlighting the company’s vision for future innovation in intelligent and high-performance two-wheelers.
