KATHMANDU: Nepal’s sub-Rs. 5 million electric SUV segment is becoming increasingly competitive. Among the latest entrants, the BYD Atto 2 and Dongfeng Nammi 06 (Vigo) have quickly emerged as two of the most talked-about models.
Both compact electric SUVs have attracted strong customer interest within a year of their arrival. BYD has already imported more than 2,000 units of the Atto 2, while the Nammi 06 has also gained momentum in the market. Their modern styling, practical dimensions, competitive pricing and extensive feature lists have made them popular choices.
Although they compete in the same segment, the two SUVs offer different strengths.
