CG Motors supports Samba with Rs 500,000

KATHMANDU: CG Motors has announced financial support of Rs 500,000 for Nepali women’s national football team player Sabitra Bhandari, popularly known as Samba.

The company said the support will be used for her knee surgery and related medical treatment. CG Motors expressed confidence that the assistance will help in her recovery and rehabilitation process.

Samba is also the brand ambassador of the Hero two-wheeler brand under CG Motors, representing the Hero Xoom 160 scooter.

Earlier, Samba had appealed for public support after All Nepal Football Association did not provide financial assistance for her treatment. Following her appeal on social media, several individuals and organizations have come forward to support her.
