KATHMANDU: MAW Vriddhi has brought Dongfeng Nammi’s first sedan, the Nammi 007, to Nepal. The model sold internationally as Dongfeng-007, has arrived in the country in its pure electric version.
The sedan is built on Dongfeng’s Quantum Architecture No. 3 Platform and features a premium, modern design. It measures 4,880 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width, and 1,460 mm in height, with a 2,915 mm wheelbase. The company says its drag coefficient is just 0.209, making it highly aerodynamic.
While the 007 is offered internationally with 56.83 kWh and 70.26 kWh battery options, the Nepali market receives a 51.38 kWh battery pack. It comes with a 100 kW motor, and MAW Vriddhi claims the sedan can deliver around 300 km range on a full charge.
The Nammi 007 gets a panoramic glass roof, unique design steering wheel, 8.8-inch instrument display, and a 15.6-inch infotainment system. It also includes a wireless phone charger and 20 speakers.

The exterior comes with frameless doors, hidden door handles, an active rear spoiler, 19-inch alloy wheels, and full LED lighting.
Safety features include six airbags, ADAS Level 2, 360-degree camera, and premium seating.
MAW Vriddhi is currently testing two units of the sedan on Nepali roads. The company has yet to announce pricing or the official sales date.
Dongfeng Nammi previously introduced the Nammi 01 hatchback and Nammi 06 (Vigo) SUV in Nepal. The Nammi 01 has already gained good traction in the market.
