KATHMANDU: Golchha Organization, one of Nepal’s oldest business houses, has long been a key player in the country’s two-wheelers market. Through its subsidiary Hansraj Hulash Chand & Company, the group currently distributes four major motorcycle brands in the Nepali market.

From Bajaj-the top-selling motorcycle brand in Nepal-to the recently trending Triumph, the group’s portfolio also includes Husqvarna and KTM motorcycles. Bajaj bikes, especially in the 150 cc to 220 cc range, dominate Nepali roads. The Pulsar is the best-selling model in the 150 cc segment, while the Pulsar NS 200 and Pulsar 220 F are performing well in the market due to their affordability, power and modern design.

With growing demand for premium motorcycles among young riders, the company is now expanding its offerings in the 400 cc segment. Hansraj Hulash Chand & Company currently offers six models in this category, all considered market leaders in their respective segments.

The company offers two Triumph models: the Scrambler 400 X and the Speed 400. In the adventure segment, the KTM 390 enjoys strong popularity among young riders. KTM 390 Duke, which remains another popular model, has seen relatively lower demand in recent months.

Bajaj has also introduced its first 400 cc bike in the Pulsar lineup. The Pulsar NS 400 Z combines premium features with an affordable price tag. With a solid fan base for the Pulsar NS series in Nepal, this model is expected to capture a significant share of the market over time. The Bajaj Dominar 400 also continues to be a strong contender in the adventure tourer segment.

Here we present some of the premium motorcycles that Hansraj Hulash Chand & Company is offering in the Nepali market:
