KATHMANDU: Bajaj Auto has confirmed that it will unveil the next-generation Pulsar in India on August 12, kicking off a major product offensive for the brand.

The company has released a teaser image showing the motorcycle under a translucent cover. While Bajaj has not confirmed the model, it is expected to be either the next-generation Pulsar 125 or the new Pulsar 150.

The teaser indicates that the bike will retain the Pulsar’s signature headlamp design. It also appears to feature alloy wheels, disc brakes on both ends and a sporty chin fairing.

The new-generation Pulsar is expected to be based on a new chassis with a revised suspension setup. It is also likely to get an updated engine and new features, including a fully digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation.

The August 12 debut will mark the beginning of Bajaj’s new product campaign in India. The Pune-based two-wheeler maker plans to introduce 10 new motorcycles and scooters over the next six weeks.
