KATHMANDU: Hyundai and Renault have confirmed launch dates for their upcoming compact SUVs in India. The next-generation Hyundai Venue will arrive on October 24, while the Renault Kiger facelift will debut on August 24.
The new Venue marks its first major update since 2019. It carries an Alcazar-inspired design with a taller front fascia, rectangular LED headlamps with C-shaped DRLs and connected LED taillights. Inside, it will get a new 3-spoke steering wheel, larger touchscreen, ventilated front seats, 360-degree camera and updated ADAS.
Engine options are expected to remain the same – 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel.
The Kiger facelift will bring revised headlamps, clear lens taillights and new bumpers. The cabin will feature fresh upholstery and a freestanding infotainment system. It will retain its current 1.0-litre petrol and 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engines, with the same manual, AMT and CVT transmission options.
