KATHMANDU: Laxmi E-Mobility has reduced the price of the Kaiyi e-Qute 02 in Nepal. The hatchback, previously priced at Rs 2.296 million, is now available at Rs 2.096 million.

The e-Qute 02 is a three-door electric hatchback designed for urban use. It offers seating for up to five passengers, although it is more comfortable for four occupants.

Despite its lower price, the car delivers a strong driving range. It is equipped with a 28.08 kWh battery, which provides a claimed range of 300 km under the CLTC cycle. Real-world test drives in Nepal have shown a range of over 260 km.

The hatchback comes with several modern features. It gets 15-inch wheels, a 360-degree camera, and a 40 kW electric motor. Its compact size and feature set make it suitable for city driving.

Along with the price revision, the company has also launched a three-day exchange camp. The campaign covers models like the e-Qute 02, e-Qute 04, and X3 Pro SUV.

The exchange camp is being held in Thapathali, and will run from April 10 to 12. Under this scheme, customers can avail cash discounts, exchange benefits, insurance support, six years of free servicing, an eight-year warranty, and a 3.3 kW charger.
