KATHMANDU: The price of the Kaiyi e-Qute 02 has been reduced by Rs 200,000, lowering it from Rs 2.296 million to Rs 2.096 million.
Laxmi E-Mobility and G.O. Automobiles, the official distributors of Kaiyi vehicles in Nepal, announced the revised pricing as part of a special offer.
The Kaiyi e-Qute 02 delivers a driving range of up to 300 km on a single charge. It is powered by a 40 kW electric motor paired with a 28.08 kWh battery and is equipped with an Energy Recovery System that recharges the battery during braking.
Interior features include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, keyless entry with a distinctive Fidget Spinner-style remote and push-button start. Other conveniences include automatic headlamps, a steering column-mounted gear shifter and a driver seat armrest.
On the safety front, the e-Qute 02 comes equipped with dual front airbags, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), rear parking sensors and ISOFIX child seat anchors.
It also features a 360-degree view camera along with a side-view camera to minimize blind spots during turns.
To improve pedestrian safety, the vehicle is fitted with an Acoustic Vehicle Alerting System (AVAS), which emits a warning sound at low speeds. Its body structure is built with 65% high-strength steel.
With the new price cut, the e-Qute 02 is now one of the most affordable and well-equipped electric vehicles in Nepal. Its compact size and practical features make it a suitable choice for city travel.
