KATHMANDU: Keren has expanded its electric scooter lineup in Nepal with the launch of the Keren Blaze Pro. The new model has been introduced by Evoque Nepal, the official distributor of Keren electric two-wheelers in the country.
The Blaze Pro is an upgraded version of the company’s existing Blaze scooter, featuring a larger battery and improved performance.
The biggest upgrade comes in the battery department. The previous Blaze was equipped with a 2.52 kWh graphene battery, while the new Blaze Pro gets a 3.7 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack.
Keren has priced the Blaze Pro at Rs. 266,000 in Nepal. The company has not yet confirmed whether the existing Blaze variant, currently priced at Rs. 219,000, will continue to be sold alongside the new model.
According to the company, the new battery delivers a claimed range of up to 150 km on a single charge. It can be charged from 0 to 80% in 3.5 hours.
Power comes from a K-Tech Delu hub motor, allowing the scooter to reach a top speed of 85 km/h.
Keren says the Blaze Pro is designed to offer a balance of long range, strong performance, and competitive pricing. The company claims it delivers smooth acceleration and is suitable for both daily commuting and longer rides.
The scooter offers 160 mm of ground clearance and comes equipped with hydraulic disc brakes with a Combined Braking System (CBS). Other features include a full-color digital display, ample under-seat storage, traction control, auto hold, reverse mode, and the K-Tech LFP battery system.
