KATHMANDU: Mahindra has officially introduced the Mahindra BE 6 electric SUV in the Nepali market through its authorized distributor Agni Incorporated Pvt. Ltd…

The new electric SUV is positioned as a premium EV designed for urban drivers and adventure-oriented buyers looking for strong performance and modern technology.

We got behind the wheel of the BE 6 for an extended test drive across the hills and winding roads surrounding Kathmandu Valley. Here is what we found.

The BE 6 features a bold design with sharp body lines, a wide stance, and distinctive LED lighting. Its styling is inspired by performance-oriented vehicles, giving the SUV a more aggressive appearance compared to many electric SUVs currently available in Nepal.

Under the hood, the BE 6 runs on a battery electric vehicle (BEV) powertrain powered by an electric motor. The SUV delivers instant torque and smooth acceleration, which is typical of modern EVs.

Inside the cabin, the BE 6 comes equipped with a large touchscreen infotainment system, a digital driver display, and connected car technology. The interior layout focuses on a driver-centric cockpit and modern software integration.

Mahindra has positioned the BE 6 to compete with popular electric SUVs already available in the market, especially Chinese EV models that currently dominate Nepal’s EV segment.

The BE 6 is priced starting at Rs 5.7 million in Nepal. With Mahindra’s established service network and dealership presence through Agni Incorporated, the company aims to strengthen its position in the country’s growing electric vehicle market.
