Tata Motors introduces doorstep EV charging service

KATHMANDU: Tata Motors has introduced an on-demand doorstep EV charging service in partnership with Hopcharge across the Delhi-NCR region in India.

Under the new service, Hopcharge will deploy mobile fast-charging vans that can be booked through a dedicated platform. The initiative is aimed at EV owners who do not have access to dedicated parking spaces or home charging facilities.

Tata EV customers will receive complimentary doorstep charging support under the program. The company is offering three subscription plans.

The Success 3.3 plan (12 months) includes 48 doorstep fast-charging sessions, unlimited rescheduling, and 12 RescueCharge sessions of up to 5 kWh each.

The Success 7.2 plan (24 months) offers 96 fast-charging sessions along with unlimited rescheduling and 24 RescueCharge sessions of up to 5 kWh per session.

The Experience plan (6 months) provides 24 fast-charging sessions and 6 RescueCharge sessions of up to 5 kWh each.

All three plans allow customers to charge their vehicles up to 100 percent state of charge once every month.
