Bagmati Province provides 30 motorcycles to Nepal Police

KATHMANDU: The Bagmati Province government has handed over 30 motorcycles to the Nepal Police to support policing operations in the province.

The motorcycles were provided to the Provincial Police Office, Hetauda. Chief Minister Indra Bahadur Baniya and Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning Prabhat Tamang jointly handed over the keys to Provincial Police Chief Arun Poudel.

According to the provincial government, the two-wheelers were purchased to replace police vehicles damaged during the Gen Z movement on September 8 and 9.

All 30 units are 160cc TVS motorcycles, procured by the Bagmati Province government and officially assigned to the Nepal Police for operational use.
