KATHMANDU: Suzuki Motorcycle India has teased an upcoming maxi-scooter on its social media platforms, hinting at the launch of an updated Burgman Street.
The teaser suggests this could be a facelift version of the popular scooter. It reveals a redesigned front profile featuring twin LED headlamps with a wing-shaped layout. LED DRLs are positioned above each unit, while the Suzuki logo sits at the center.
Spy images from recent tests indicate that the new Burgman Street may come with updated body panels, including a revised front fascia and reworked side sections. The overall design is expected to remain familiar but with sharper styling elements.
Inside, Suzuki is likely to introduce a new TFT instrument console, replacing the existing unit and offering a more modern interface.
Mechanically, no major changes are expected. The scooter will likely continue with the same 124cc single-cylinder engine, producing 8.6 BHP at 6,750 rpm and 10 Nm at 5,500 rpm.
Suzuki has not confirmed the official launch date yet, but the teaser indicates that the debut could happen soon.
