According to the Department of Customs, imports of two-wheelers increased by 34.93 percent in the first 10 months of the fiscal year ending mid-May 2026.

The country imported a total of 228,290 units of motorcycles and scooters, excluding mopeds, during the period. The figure includes both completely built units and unassembled imports.

Compared to the same period last fiscal year, imports increased by 59,096 units. Nepal had imported 169,194 units of motorcycles and scooters in the first 10 months of FY 2024/25.
