KATHMANDU: Tata Motors’ much-awaited Sierra.ev has arrived in Nepal ahead of its public debut at the NADA Auto Show 2026.
Sipradi Trading, the authorised distributor of Tata Motors in Nepal, has brought the electric SUV into the country. The Sierra.ev is scheduled to be showcased at the NADA Auto Show, which will run from August 25 to 30 at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu.
The Sierra.ev is offered in India with 63 kWh and 75 kWh battery options. Tata claims a MIDC range of up to 665 km with the 75 kWh RWD version. The 63 kWh version has a claimed range of 535 km, while the 75 kWh QWD version offers up to 624 km.

Tata has not yet confirmed which battery and drivetrain options will be offered in Nepal.
The RWD version produces 175 kW, while the dual-motor QWD version develops 225 kW. Both versions offer up to 504 Nm of torque. The top QWD version can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds.

The Sierra.ev can add up to 263 km of claimed range in 15 minutes using fast charging. Tata says the 75 kWh battery can deliver up to 665 km of range under the MIDC testing cycle.
The SUV has a distinctive boxy design with a full-width LED light bar, Bi-LED projector headlamps, flush-fitting door handles, the signature Sierra rear-quarter glass and 18-inch alloy wheels. It also gets a roof spoiler, shark-fin antenna and Tata’s Ultra Glide suspension.

The Sierra.ev is based on Tata’s Acti.ev+ platform. Its cabin features a dual-tone theme, a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch digital cockpit. Other features include an eight-speaker audio system, automatic climate control, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, steering-mounted controls and keyless entry.
Tata’s iRA.ev connected-car suite offers more than 70 connected features, along with advanced 5G connectivity. Wireless charging is also available.
In terms of safety, the Sierra.ev gets six airbags, an Electronic Stability Program with 19 features, all-wheel disc brakes and a rear camera with park-assist guides. These features are available even on the entry-level version in India.
