KATHMANDU: Bajaj is preparing to launch an updated version of its premium motorcycle, the Dominar 400, in the Indian market.

The 2025 Dominar 400, which the company plans to unveil in the near future, has already been spotted in dealer networks.

For the first time, Bajaj has equipped the Dominar with a fully digital console, similar to the one found on the NS 400Z. This console includes smart connectivity features. The small digital display on the fuel tank has been replaced by a USB port. Similarly, a new switch panel on the handlebar has been introduced for the digital console. The motorcycle is also expected to feature ride-by-wire technology.

The engine also meets the new emission standards. Apart from this, no significant changes have been made to the engine. Likewise, touring accessories, introduced in the previous edition, have been retained in the new model.

The new Dominar 400 is powered by a 373cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 39 horsepower and 35 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.

The existing Dominar 400 model is priced at 226,000 Indian rupees (ex-showroom). The 2025 model is expected to be slightly expensive. It is not clear yet when the updated Dominar 400 will be available in Nepal.
