KATHMANDU: Chinese automaker Changan is set to bring its flying car to Nepal for the first time.
The vehicle will be the key attraction at this year’s NADA Auto Show.
MAW Vriddhi, the main sponsor of the event, is introducing the flying car, developed using eVTOL (Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing) technology.
Changan has partnered with urban air mobility company EHang for the project.
The flying car uses advanced low-altitude flight systems and builds on Changan’s experience in automotive manufacturing.
The company has committed USD 2.78 billion in investment towards flying car development over the next five years.
