KATHMANDU: Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd., the authorized distributor of BYD vehicles in Nepal, has officially launched the BYD Mega Exchange Campaign, running from May 7 to May 10, 2025.

The campaign aims to encourage vehicle owners across the country to switch to electric vehicles (EVs) by offering attractive deals and added benefits.

The four-day event allows customers to trade in any vehicle  regardless of brand or model and receive the highest market valuation toward the purchase of a new BYD electric vehicle. Eligible models include the BYD ATTO 3, BYD Dolphin and BYD M6.

The special offers available during the BYD Mega Exchange include a range of valuable benefits for customers. These include attractive exchange bonuses on old vehicles, a complimentary one-year Auto Plus insurance package and a 10-year extended warranty for added peace of mind.

Buyers can also take advantage of up to 80% financing options, making it easier to afford their new EV. Additionally, exclusive cash benefits are being offered to further enhance the value of the deal. In addition, customers who book a BYD vehicle during the campaign will be entered into a lucky draw, where three winners will receive 12 months of free EMI on their new EV purchase.

The Mega Exchange is being hosted at more than 20 locations across Nepal, making it easier for customers nationwide to participate.

“With the new fiscal year approaching and ongoing discussions in the market about potential changes to EV tax policies, now is the perfect time for customers to switch to electric,” said Sahil Shrestha, CEO of Cimex Inc. Pvt. Ltd. “This campaign offers unmatched value, financial flexibility, and special benefits that make owning a BYD EV more accessible than ever,” he added.
