KATHMANDU: Harley-Davidson, in partnership with Hero MotoCorp, has introduced a new motorcycle called the X440 T in India.
The model appears to be built on a tubular frame similar to the standard X440 and carries over key hardware such as the upside-down front fork, dual rear shock absorbers, alloy wheels, and braking setup.
The X440 T gets noticeable styling updates. It features a longer tail section, a slightly extended single-piece seat, bar-end mirrors, and a single-pod instrument cluster, giving it a distinct look compared to the regular model.
The bike may also adopt a ride-by-wire throttle system. If confirmed, this could enable electronic features such as switchable traction control and multiple riding modes.
Full technical specifications are yet to be released. However, the X440 T is expected to use the same 440cc single-cylinder engine that powers the standard X440.
