KATHMANDU: Honda has revealed its smallest electric car, the N-One e: in Japan. A prototype was recently shown at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
The N-One e: features a boxy design, high roof and tiny wheels, giving it a cute and funky look. It is expected to be under 3,400 mm in length with a 63 BHP single motor. Technical details are yet to be announced.
The N-One e: may use the same electric setup as the N-Van e, which Honda introduced earlier this year. The N-Van offers a 245 km range and supports 50 kW DC fast charging, with a full charge taking about 30 minutes. The N-One e: could offer even better range due to its smaller size.
Inside, the N-One e: has a simple, clean interior with physical buttons, a rotary volume dial and a smartphone shelf. The rear seats fold 50:50.
The key feature is V2L (Vehicle to Load), allowing the car to power homes or devices like e-bikes and laptops. Sales will begin in Japan this September, with a European debut set for the International Motor Show in Germany.
