Mahindra XUV 3XO EV launched in India

KATHMANDU: Mahindra has launched the XUV 3XO EV in the Indian market, with prices starting at 1.389 million Indian rupees (ex-showroom). The electric SUV is offered in two variants; AX5 and AX7L,

The XUV 3XO EV replaces the XUV400 in Mahindra’s electric vehicle lineup and competes directly with the Tata Nexon.ev. Its exterior design is largely similar to the ICE version, featuring a blanked-off front fascia, stacked LED headlamps, and C-shaped LED daytime running lights.

Inside, the electric SUV gets twin 10.25-inch screens for the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system. Other features include a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a 7-speaker Harman Kardon audio system with Dolby Atmos. The vehicle also offers over 80 connected car features, including remote functions and smartwatch connectivity.

On the safety front, the XUV 3XO EV is equipped with Level 2 ADAS, including adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, smart pilot assist, and autonomous emergency braking. It also features a 360-degree camera, six airbags, disc brakes on all four wheels, and a tire pressure monitoring system.

Power comes from a 39.4 kWh battery pack paired with an electric motor producing 148 BHP and 310 Nm of torque. Mahindra claims a 0-100 km/h time of 8.3 seconds, making it the fastest in its segment. The XUV 3XO EV offers a claimed range of 285 km on a single charge.
