KATHMANDU: The Maxus MIFA 7 is set to be launched in the Nepali market during the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo that kicks off in Kathmandu on August 6.
Himalayan Motrox, the authorized distributor of Maxus in Nepal, has confirmed that the luxury seven-seater electric MPV will be unveiled during the Nepal Mobility Expo.
The car boasts an outstanding range of 630 kilometers when fully charged.
The MIFA 7 is the compact version of the premium MIFA 9, which is already available in the Nepali market, and comes equipped with a high-energy-density 90 kWh battery, delivering a WLTP-rated range of 630 km in urban conditions. It features a 180 kW front-mounted electric motor with peak torque of 350 Nm.
The Maxus brand, owned by Chinese automotive giant SAIC Group, has earned a strong reputation in the UK and other European markets.
The MIFA 7 is being launched in the Nepali market with a price tag of Rs 12.5 million.
The MIFA 7 is designed for both comfort and luxury. It accommodates up to seven passengers, including the driver, with captain seats in the second row for added comfort.

The vehicle has leatherette seat covers, a ventilated and memory-enabled electric driver’s seat, and an eight-speaker JBL premium sound system. Likewise, it features a dual 12.3-inch infotainment screen and instrument cluster, along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The MIFA 7 comes with a large panoramic sunroof and electric power sliding doors on both sides. It offers up to 45 storage compartments, a flat floor design and ample space even in the third-row seats.
The MPV has features such as a wireless phone charger and air purifier. It is also packed with advanced safety technologies, including a 360-degree camera system with ADAS, rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision avoidance assist, lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control.
The MIFA 7 is being launched in the Nepali market with a price tag of Rs 12.5 million.
