KATHMANDU : The MG Cyberster electric sports car now has a waiting period of up to four to five months in India. The demand has grown steadily since its launch in July.
The Cyberster is the most powerful electric two-door convertible available in the market. It comes at a price of Rs 7.499 million Indian rupees. More than 350 units have been sold so far.
The car uses a 77 kWh battery pack with dual motors, one on each axle. It delivers 503 bhp and 725 Nm. MG says it can go from 0-100 km/h in 3.2 seconds. Its certified range is 580 km.
In terms of safety, it gets Level 2 ADAS, a Driver Monitoring System, dual airbags, ESC, and an electronic differential lock. The cabin features a curved digital display with a 10.25-inch central touchscreen and two 7-inch digital panels.
Growing interest in the model has pushed the waiting time higher as bookings continue to rise.
