KATHMANDU: The automobile fair, NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2025, is set to begin today.
The event is organized by the Nepal Automobile Importers and Manufacturers Association (NAIMA) for the first time. Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel will inaugurate the expo at 9 AM.
A total of 50 brands are taking part in the exhibition. According to NAIMA, 35 new vehicles will be unveiled during the event.
The expo will feature 15 new four-wheelers, 15 two-wheelers, one three-wheeler and four commercial vehicles. However, some models are yet to arrive.
Dealers have set up creative and eye-catching stalls to attract visitors.
Brands like BYD, Hyundai, Kia, Mahindra, MG/IM, Nissan, Toyota, Volkswagen and others are showcasing their latest four-wheelers.
In the two-wheeler category, brands such as Ather, Bajaj, Honda, KTM, Royal Enfield, Suzuki, TVS and Yadea are participating.
Commercial vehicles, companies like Chery/Wanda, Dongfeng, Farizon, Huazi, Kama, Karry, Kinglong and Sunlong are participating
Visitors can park cars at the Nepal Police Club, while motorcycles can be parked inside the Bhrikutimandap premises.
The entry fee is Rs 200. Students will get a 50% discount on the ticket price.
