KATHMANDU: Popular two-wheeler models Hero and Triumph are preparing to launch their new models in the Nepali market.

CG Motors, the authorized distributor of Hero, is unveiling the all-new Xpulse 210 at the 2025 NADA Auto Show, while Hansraj Hulaschand & Company, which represents Triumph in Nepal, is taking the wraps off Scrambler 400 XC during the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo.

Both the auto shows will be held in August.

According to CG Motors, senior officials of Hero MotoCorp, India, recently visited Nepal to prepare for the bike’s launch.

Triumph has decided not to include the more affordable Speed 400 T4 in its lineup in Nepal. The British brand has decided to launch the Scrambler 400 XC, a bike designed for off-road enthusiasts with rugged styling and capable performance.

Hero Xpulse 210
The Xpulse 210 is equipped with a 210cc single-cylinder, DOHC, four-valve, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 24.6 bhp of power and 20.7 Nm of torque. Designed for off-road performance, the bike comes with dual-purpose tires—21 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear.

The bike has a 43mm fully adjustable USD front fork at the front and a 205mm travel mono-shock at the rear.

The new Xpulse 210 comes loaded with several modern features such as an Enduro-style tail section, switchable dual-channel ABS, tachometer, odometer, gear position indicator and a 4.2-inch TFT instrument cluster with turn-by-turn navigation. It also offers smart connectivity, a round LED headlamp, a windscreen and LED indicators.

The Xpulse 210 is expected to be priced between Rs 550,000 and Rs 600,000 in Nepal.

Triumph Scrambler 400 XC
The Scrambler 400 XC stands out from the X model with its off-road-inspired styling and a fresh new color scheme. It features cross-spoke alloy wheels and tubeless tires for improved performance and convenience. The suspension setup includes an upside-down USD front fork and an adjustable offset mono-shock at the rear.

Additional design highlights include a body-colored beak-style mudguard, fly screen, high-mounted front fender, compact windshield, sump guard, engine protection guard, and a split seat for added utility and comfort.

The Scrambler 400 XC is powered by a 398cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled BS6 engine that produces 39.5 bhp and 37.5 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
