KATHMANDU: Citizens in Kathmandu can now register complaints about damaged federal roads through a new mobile app.
The Road Division Kathmandu under the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport has officially launched the ‘Sadak Sujhab App’ after a successful trial. The app allows users to submit complaints and suggestions related to the maintenance of federal roads in Kathmandu.
Users can also track the status of their complaints through the app. They will receive an update once the reported issue has been addressed.
The app currently covers around 472 kilometers of federal roads within Kathmandu Valley. If a reported road does not fall under federal jurisdiction, the app will provide information about the concerned government agency responsible for the road.
The Road Division plans to expand the app nationwide to make road complaint management more effective. Lalitpur and Bhaktapur are expected to be added to the platform within the next two weeks, followed by a gradual expansion across the country.
