Ventilated seats are especially useful during the summer season. Compared to hilly areas and the Kathmandu Valley, demand is higher in the Tarai region due to hotter weather. As electric vehicles gain popularity, manufacturers are adding more comfort-focused features even in affordable models.
While heated seats are generally found in more expensive vehicles, some budget EVs now offer both heated and ventilated seats. Below are six SUVs available in Nepal under Rs 5 million that come with ventilated seats.
Tata Punch EV
Sold by Sipradi Trading, the Tata Punch EV is positioned in the micro-SUV segment. The vehicle offers ventilated seats for the front passengers. The top variant is priced at Rs 4.099 million.
Nammi Vigo
MAW Vriddhi offers the Nammi Vigo in the Nepali market. This EV provides both heated and ventilated seats, although the feature is limited to the driver’s seat only. The top variant costs Rs 4.199 million.
BYD Atto 2
Distributed by Cimex Inc., the BYD Atto 2 is one of the most talked-about EVs in the market. It comes with ventilated seats for both front passengers. The model is priced at Rs 4.399 million and has seen strong demand since launch.
MG S5
The MG S5 Luxury variant is priced at Rs 4.999 million. Both heated and ventilated seats are available for the front passengers. The model is sold by Paramount Motors and is positioned as a value-focused electric SUV.
Tata Nexon K3
