SPG Automobiles launching four Omoda, Jaecoo models this year

KATHMANDU: SPG Automobiles, the official distributor of Omoda and Jaecoo in Nepal, has announced plans to introduce four new models in 2025—two under each brand.

Under the Omoda brand, the company will launch the C3 (proposed name), a compact SUV smaller than the current E5, alongside the C7, a compact crossover. On the other hand, the Jaecoo lineup will expand with the V23 and J5 models.

These cars are expected to be priced between Rs 4.5 million and Rs 7 million.

SPG Automobiles is also considering introducing other brands under the Chery Group, such as QQ, in the near future. “We plan to bring additional Chery brands to Nepal after 2026,” Gaurav Sarda, director of SPG Automobiles Group, told Mero Auto.

SPG Automobiles is currently selling two models under the Omoda and Jaecoo brands. The Omoda E5 comes in two variants: Deluxe and Luxury. The Deluxe costs Rs 5.599 million in single color and Rs 6.249 million in dual tone.The Jaecoo J6 is offered in a single variant at Rs 6.999 million. The all-wheel-drive version of the J6 is expected to hit the Nepali roads soon.

Since their launch in Nepal about a year ago, both Omoda E5 and Jaecoo J6 have received positive feedback from Nepali consumers.
