KATHMANDU : Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) recorded its highest-ever monthly sales in July 2026, selling 142,985 units, up 26% from 113,600 units in the same month last year.
The record performance was driven by strong domestic demand. Suzuki sold 123,216 units in the Indian market during the month, representing a 28% year-on-year increase from 96,029 units in July 2025.
The company also reported healthy export growth. Overseas shipments rose 13% to 19,769 units, compared to 17,571 units in the corresponding month last year.
Commenting on the achievement, Deepak Mutreja, VP – Sales & Marketing, Suzuki Motorcycle India, said July 2026 marked a milestone for the company, with monthly sales reaching an all-time high, according to Autocar India.
Suzuki Motorcycle India also achieved its highest-ever monthly spare parts revenue, generating 1,029 million Indian rupees in July, up 23% year-on-year.
In Nepal, Suzuki’s two-wheeler lineup is represented by VG Automobiles. The brand offers popular models including the V-Strom SX 250, Gixxer 155 and Access 125. It has also started local assembly of select models, helping reduce prices and improve affordability for Nepali customers.
