KATHMANDU: Vaidya’s Organization has been appointed as the official importer and distributor of Ultraviolette motorcycles in Nepal, replacing Kedia Group.
The partnership marks a new phase for the Indian premium electric motorcycle brand as it looks to strengthen its presence in the Nepali market. Vaidya’s organization currently distributes other electric scooters and recently introduced the Morbidelli motorcycle brand in Nepal.
Under the new agreement, the company plans to expand its premium motorcycle portfolio by focusing on showroom experience, service infrastructure, and after-sales support.

Ultraviolette CEO and co-founder Narayana Subramaniam said the partnership is a key step in the brand’s global expansion. He added that Vaidya’s experience in building premium brands in Nepal will help deliver a high-quality ownership experience.
The company is also preparing to introduce the Ultraviolette X47 electric crossover in the Nepali market in the near future. Suryansh Vaidya said Nepal’s EV motorcycle market is entering a new phase with the addition of Ultraviolette to the company’s portfolio.
He said Nepali customers are now looking beyond basic mobility and demanding premium design, advanced technology, and strong performance from their vehicles.
Ultraviolette X47 crossover coming soon
Vaidya’s organization has also confirmed plans to introduce the upcoming Ultraviolette X47 crossover motorcycle in Nepal. The company says pre-booking for the new model will open soon.
The X47 is claimed to be the world’s first motorcycle in its segment to feature an integrated radar system. It is designed for daily riders, touring enthusiasts, and performance-focused users.

Alongside the X47, the company has also opened bookings for the Ultraviolette F77 Original and F77 Recon in Nepal. The starting price of the F77 Original has been set at Rs 811,000, while the F77 Recon is priced at Rs 969,000.
The F77 comes with a 10.3 kWh battery pack and delivers an IDC-certified range of 323 km on a full charge. It is powered by a 30 kW electric motor that produces 100 Nm torque. The motorcycle can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 2.8 seconds and has a top speed of 155 km/h.
The bike also features a 39-level traction control system and 10 levels of regenerative braking. Other features include Dynamic Stability Control and Hill Hold Assist for improved safety and riding stability.
