KATHMANDU: Ultraviolette Automotive has launched the X-47 Crossover in India. It is an electric adventure motorcycle priced at 249,000 Indian rupees. The company claims it is the world’s first radar-integrated motorcycle.
The bike features a 77 GHz rear radar that monitors up to 200 meters. It offers safety systems such as blind-spot monitoring, lane change assist, overtake alert and rear collision warning.
The X-47 is available with two battery options: a 7.1 kWh pack with 211 km range and a 10.3 kWh pack with 323 km range. The motor produces 40 bhp and 100 Nm of torque, enabling 0-60 km/h in 2.7 seconds and a top speed of 145 km/h.

Other features include a dual-camera dashcam, 5-inch touchscreen, regenerative braking, 3-level traction control, dynamic stability control, dual-channel ABS and Hill Hold.
The motorcycle is based on the ‘X’ concept shown at EICMA 2024 and comes with USD forks at the front, mono-shock suspension at the rear and disc brakes on both wheels.
