KATHMANDU: BMW Motorrad India has teased the updated G 310 RR, the only motorcycle from its joint venture with TVS that is still on sale. The launch is expected soon.
The new G 310 RR is likely to follow the updates introduced on its sibling, the TVS Apache RR 310. Design changes may include a reworked fairing with aerodynamic winglets that can generate up to 3 kg of downforce. The bike may also get new alloy wheels and a transparent clutch cover.
Mechanical improvements are also expected. Reports suggest a larger airbox and throttle body, a lighter forged piston and a higher compression ratio. These changes could deliver a slight boost in performance.
In terms of features, the G 310 RR may gain cruise control, launch control and cornering drag torque control. These would add more comfort and safety for riders.
BMW has not yet confirmed the launch date, but with teasers out, the updated G 310 RR could arrive in the market soon.
