KATHMANDU: The 2025 model of the popular KTM 390 Adventure is set to hit Nepali roads soon. Hansraj Hulaschand & Co, the official distributor of KTM in Nepal, is preparing to bring the new model for Nepali riders.

Speaking at the inauguration of KTM’s new showroom in Naxal recently, Abhimanyu Golchha, director of Hansraj Hulaschand & Co, shared that the new model of KTM 390 Adventure will arrive in Nepal very soon.

While the current KTM 390 Adventure is already available in Nepal, the 2025 model brings important upgrades and a fresh look. Inspired by Dakar rally bikes, the new model features a bold and aggressive design. The front features a rally-style with a vertically stacked LED projector headlamp, while larger side panels enhance its commanding road presence.

The company is also preparing to introduce the KTM 390 Enduro R to the Nepali market.

Powering the 2025 model is a 398.7cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 46 PS of power and 39 Nm of torque. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox and can reach a top speed of 167 km/h.

The suspension system has also been upgraded with fully adjustable WP Apex USD front forks and a WP Apex rear mono-shock. With a higher ground clearance of 237 mm and a larger 21-inch front wire-spoke wheel, up from 19 inches, the bike is better equipped to handle rugged terrains.

The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure is loaded with advanced features such as cornering ABS, cornering traction control and cruise control with three riding modes: Rain, Street and Sports. Likewise, the ABS system also offers three settings: cornering ABS, off-road ABS and supermoto ABS.

According to the company, riders will also benefit from a ride-by-wire throttle, a bright 5-inch color TFT display and a quick-shifter for smooth gear changes.

The existing KTM 390 Adventure is priced at around Rs 1 million. According to the company, the 2025 model could be priced slightly higher given its added features and upgrades. It will directly compete with other adventure bikes like the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and CFMoto 450 MT.

The company is also preparing to introduce the KTM 390 Enduro R to the Nepali market. Both motorcycles are expected to be showcased during the Nepal Mobility Expo scheduled to be held in Kathmandu from August 6 to 10.
