KATHMANDU: Kawasaki has launched the 2026 edition of the Versys-X 300 in India, priced at 349,000 Indian rupee (ex-showroom). The adventure motorcycle rivals the KTM 390 Adventure in the segment.

The 2026 Versys-X 300 is offered in a single dual-tone colour scheme of green and black, featuring new graphics that give it a refreshed look.

Apart from these minor cosmetic changes, the bike remains mechanically unchanged.

It continues to be powered by a 296cc parallel-twin engine producing 39 BHP and 26 Nm of torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. Suspension duties are handled by a 41 mm telescopic fork at the front with 130 mm of travel and a mono-shock at the rear with 148 mm of travel.

The Versys-X 300 rides on wire-spoke wheels, a 19-inch rim at the front and a 17-inch rim at the rear. Key features include a triangular headlamp, tall windscreen, stepped seat, semi-digital instrument console, and dual-channel ABS.

While Vishal Group has been the exclusive distributor for Kawasaki motorcycles in Nepal since 2024, there have been no signs of imports or showrooms for the brand in the country so far.
