KATHMANDU: Maruti Suzuki has achieved its highest-ever annual production in FY2025-26. The company produced 2.34 million passenger vehicles, setting a new industry record in India.
Maruti Suzuki was also the only manufacturing facility under Suzuki Motor Corporation’s global network to reach this milestone.
Several popular models posted strong production numbers during the year.
The Dzire, Fronx, Swift, Ertiga, and Baleno each crossed the 200,000-unit production mark.
These models played a key role in helping the company reach its new record. Maruti Suzuki has steadily increased production in recent years.
In FY2022-23, the company produced 1.922 million units. That increased by 3.13 percent to 1.984 million units in FY2023-24. In FY2024-25, production rose further to 2.102 million units, up 6.06 percent year-on-year.
In FY2025-26, output jumped by 11.66 percent, reaching a record 2.34 million units.
Maruti Suzuki currently operates four manufacturing plants. These are located in Gurugram, Manesar, and Kharkhoda in Haryana, and Hansalpur in Gujarat.
Together, the facilities have a combined annual production capacity of 2.4 million units.
The company is also planning a fifth plant in Sanand, Gujarat. Once operational, the new facility will add 1 million units of annual capacity.
