KATHMANDU : Italian premium motorcycle brand Morbidelli is set to expand its lineup in Nepal with the launch of the new Morbidelli T250X adventure motorcycle at the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026, which begins on August 11.
Morbidelli’s authorized distributor in Nepal, Vaidya’s Organization, will unveil the new 250cc adventure bike during the exhibition. The T250X will become the most affordable Morbidelli motorcycle available in the Nepali market.
The launch comes as demand for entry-level adventure motorcycles continues to grow in Nepal. The T250X is expected to offer riders a new option in the competitive 250cc ADV segment.
Morbidelli currently sells three adventure motorcycles in Nepal: the T352X, T502X, and the flagship T1002VX Super Adventure. The new T250X will sit below these models in the brand’s lineup.
Designed for both daily commuting and light off-road riding, the Morbidelli T250X features rally-inspired styling, a lightweight body, and high ground clearance. The motorcycle has been developed as a practical adventure tourer that can handle a variety of road conditions.
Powering the T250X is a 249.4cc, single-cylinder, four-valve, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine. It produces 22.4 hp at 7,500 rpm and 22.3 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm.
The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox, while the claimed top speed is around 115 km/h. The engine is tuned to deliver strong low- and mid-range torque, making it suitable for both city roads and off-road trails.
The motorcycle is built on a double cradle frame and features a rally-style front design with a high-mounted front fender.
Suspension duties are handled by long-travel upside-down (USD) front forks and a preload-adjustable rear monoshock. The front suspension offers 177 mm of travel, while the rear provides 55 mm.
It also comes with wire-spoke wheels, disc brakes, and dual-purpose tires to improve stability and control on rough roads.
The T250X weighs 154 kg and offers 220 mm of ground clearance, an 820 mm seat height, and an 11.7-liter fuel tank, making it well suited to Nepal’s diverse road conditions.
Unlike Morbidelli’s larger adventure motorcycles, the T250X focuses on practicality instead of premium technology.
The Morbidelli T250X focuses on practicality with a simple yet functional feature list. It comes equipped with a vertical LCD instrument display, full LED lighting, dual projector headlamps, and an automatic headlight system.
Other features include hazard lights, electric start, a USB charging port, backlit handlebar switches, handguards, and a windshield for added comfort during long rides.
The official price of the Morbidelli T250X in Nepal is expected to be announced at its launch during the NAIMA Nepal Mobility Expo 2026.
