KATHMANDU: Kia India recorded total sales of 27,603 units in January 2026, posting a 10.3 percent year-on-year growth compared to the same month last year.
The company said sales were driven by strong demand for the new-generation Kia Seltos, continued traction for the Kia Sonet, and steady interest in the Carens Clavis and Clavis EV.
Kia India stated that the new Seltos continues to play a key role in the mid-size SUV segment, while the Sonet maintains its position in the compact SUV category. The Carens line-up has supported the brand’s presence in the multi-purpose and electric vehicle segments.
Commenting on the performance, Atul Sood, Senior Vice-President, Sales and Marketing, said the January results reflect customer confidence in the Kia brand and its product range.
Kia India currently operates 841 sales and service touchpoints across 376 cities, supported by 122 Certified Pre-Owned outlets nationwide.
