KATHMANDU: NADA Automobiles Association of Nepal (NADA) has expressed concern over the recent nationwide agitation and its impact on the country.
The association extended condolences to families affected by the unrest and wished for the speedy recovery of all injured citizens.
NADA said the automobile sector is a key part of Nepal’s industry, trade and employment. The recent events have disrupted the sector and raised concerns about the safety of employees, customers and infrastructure. Consumer confidence has also been affected, creating challenges for investment and employment.
The association emphasized that solutions to the country’s problems can be found through peaceful dialogue and consensus. It urged the government to prioritize public safety and support the automobile sector to return to normal operations.
NADA reaffirmed its commitment to protecting the interests of member companies, maintaining consumer confidence and strengthening the automobile industry. The association expressed hope that united efforts, responsible leadership and positive dialogue will help the country achieve stability.
NADA has also extended its best wishes on the appointment of a female Prime Minister for the first time in Nepal’s history. “We also wish this government success in absorbing the sentiments and sentiments of the general Nepali people, given that the Council of Ministers will be formed soon and this government has taken the responsibility of holding general elections within the next six months,” NADA said.
