KATHMANDU: Tata Motors has imported more than 1,000 units of the Punch EV in Nepal. In the 15 months since its launch, the company has brought in 1,021 units as of mid-November 2025.
The Punch EV was first shown at the NADA Auto Show 2024. It has gained good sales in a short time. While many Indian EV brands are struggling in Nepal, Tata’s EVs are still performing well.
The Punch EV sits in the micro-SUV segment. It has many features for its class, which has helped it build a strong presence. Tata’s wide sales and service network has also encouraged more buyers.

The Punch is already a popular model in India. The petrol version sells even more than the EV.
Sipradi Trading sells the Punch EV with a 35 kWh battery. It gives an off-road range of about 270 kilometers on a single charge. The EV is built on Tata’s Acti.ev platform and comes with ventilated seats, a 360-degree camera, a sunroof, and a wireless charger. It also has a large infotainment screen and a digital instrument cluster.
The Punch EV is strong in safety as well. It has earned a 5-star rating in both Global NCAP and Bharat NCAP tests. It includes six airbags, electronic stability control, blind spot monitoring, and disc brakes on all four wheels. Tata has used high-strength steel to improve safety and aerodynamics.

Sipradi Trading offers the Long Range Punch EV in two trims. The Empowered variant costs Rs 3.899 million, and the top Empowered Plus S variant costs Rs 4.099 million.
The EV uses a 90 kW motor that delivers 190 Nm of torque. It also has 190 mm of ground clearance, which suits Nepali roads well.
