KATHMANDU: Renault has confirmed the India debut of the next-gen Duster on January 26, 2026. The SUV will take on midsize rivals such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, Maruti Victoris, Honda Elevate, and VW Taigun.
Unveiled globally in November 2023, the new Duster will be the first model under Renault’s International Game Plan 2027 for India.
Built on the CMF-B platform, the new Duster is larger than its predecessor and draws design cues from the Bigster concept. It features flared wheel arches, Y-shaped LED taillights, dual-tone alloy wheels, roof rails, a rear wiper, and a roof spoiler.

Under the hood, the SUV is expected to offer a 1.3-litre turbo-petrol engine with manual and CVT options. Lower variants could get the 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine from the Kiger.
The new Renault Duster will also compete with the upcoming Tata Sierra in the growing midsize SUV segment.
