KATHMANDU: XPENG, a leading smart electric vehicle brand from China, has achieved a major milestone by crossing 800,000 global deliveries as of July 11, 2025.
The growth reflects the brand’s rising popularity worldwide and continued momentum in the electric vehicle market.
In June 2025 alone, XPENG delivered 34,611 vehicles, a 224% increase compared to the same period last year. With this, XPENG now ranks fourth among China’s top new energy vehicle startups.
Models like the G6, G9 and the newly launched G7 are driving demand. The G7, a sleek electric SUV, received over 10,000 confirmed orders within just nine minutes of its launch. It offers a driving range of up to 702 km and features a modern aerodynamic design.
In the first half of 2025, XPENG delivered more than 197,000 vehicles, already surpassing its total deliveries for 2024. The company now aims to reach 380,000 global deliveries and expand its presence to 60 countries by the end of the year.
Founded in 2014 by entrepreneur He Xiaopeng, XPENG has positioned itself as a leader in smart mobility, focusing on innovation and intelligent driving technologies.
In Nepal, XPENG is slowly gaining recognition among EV buyers. Known for its clean design, advanced features and strong performance, the brand is suited for both urban commutes and hilly terrains.
XPENG is working with CG Motors in Nepal to ensure customer satisfaction through expanded service networks, availability of spare parts and dependable after-sales support.
