KATHMANDU: The 2026 Hyundai Venue and Kia Seltos have secured 5-star safety ratings in Bharat NCAP crash tests.
The Hyundai Venue scored 31.15 out of 32 in adult occupant protection. It received 44.46 out of 49 in child occupant protection. The SUV showed good protection in frontal and side impact tests. Child safety performance was also strong, with high scores in dynamic and CRS installation tests.
The Kia Seltos performed slightly better. It scored 31.70 out of 32 for adult protection and 45 out of 49 for child protection. It offered good protection in both frontal and side impact tests. Child safety scores were also near perfect.
Both SUVs come equipped with multiple airbags, ESC, seatbelt pretensioner, load limiters, seatbelt reminders, and ISOFIX mounts.
