KATHMANDU: Suzuki has launched its new compact SUV, the Victoris, in the Nepali market. The SUV is manufactured in India and has been introduced by CG Motocorp, Suzuki’s authorized distributor in Nepal.
According to the company, the Victoris will reach Suzuki showrooms nationwide this week. A company source told MeroAuto that vehicle dispatch to dealers has already started and sales will begin this week.
The Victoris will be offered with both mild-hybrid and strong-hybrid powertrains. Suzuki will also provide a four-wheel-drive option.
The exact number of variants for Nepal has not been confirmed yet. Company sources say the starting price of the Victoris has been fixed at Rs 5.099 million.
The top variant comes with Level 2 ADAS, making it one of the most feature-rich SUVs in its segment.

In the Indian market, the Victoris offers ventilated front seats, a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, and a 7-inch digital instrument cluster.
Safety and tech features include wireless smartphone connectivity, head-up display, wireless charging, a 360-degree camera, TPMS, cruise control, and six airbags.
Suzuki offers the Victoris with two engine options. These include a 1.5-liter petrol engine and a 1.5-liter petrol hybrid engine.
