KATHMANDU: Chery Automobile has upgraded and renamed its iCAUR 03 series as the Fulwin X3 series.
The new lineup, Fulwin X3 and Fulwin X3 Plus, has been launched in China with starting prices of around USD 12,400 and USD 15,200 respectively.
According to Chinese media, the shift reflects Chery’s product strategy based on market segmentation. With this addition, the Fulwin brand will further expand its new energy ecosystem of pure electric, hybrid and extended-range vehicles.
At the same time, the iCAUR 03 series will be withdrawn from the iCAR brand lineup. Going forward, the iCAUR brand will focus more on personalized products for young users.

Chery has assured that all iCAUR 03 owners will continue to enjoy existing after-sales services without any change in rights or service standards.
Chery stated that the Fulwin X3 series will target the growing market for boxy outdoor lifestyle vehicles. The series is expected to strengthen the brand’s diverse product mix and appeal to global users seeking stylish off-road options.
The Fulwin X3 carries a boxy design with L-shaped headlights, a redesigned front grille, a roof rack, and storage at the rear. In terms of size, the model is slightly smaller than the Jaecoo J6, which is already available in Nepal.
The Jaecoo J6 measures 4406 mm in length, while the Fulwin X3 is 4327 mm long, 1916 mm wide and 1722 mm tall. It has a 2715 mm wheelbase and can wade through water up to 625 mm deep.
The standard X3 is powered by a 185 kW rear-wheel drive motor delivering 300 Nm torque. It comes with 50.79 kWh and 68.36 kWh battery options, offering a range of up to 520 km (CLTC standard). The X3 Plus is available in both rear-wheel and all-wheel drive, with a combined output of 255 kW.
Inside, the models feature a 9.2-inch information display, a 15.6-inch infotainment system, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8155 chip.
