KATHMANDU: Hyundai has revealed the Ioniq 3, the newest model in its electric line-up. The car was shown as a concept at the IAA Mobility show in Munich on September 9. It gives a clear view of Hyundai’s fresh design ideas.
The Ioniq 3 is a compact hatchback, 4,287mm long and 1,940mm wide. It’s the same length as the MG EV4 but about 100mm wider, giving it a bold, planted look.
The concept has bright yellow-tinted windows and smooth body lines. The version coming in 2026 will likely drop these wild touches and use regular door handles instead.
Hyundai says the car’s shape focuses on airflow. A sloping rear helps air move over the roof and tail, while a ducktail spoiler keeps the flow clean. Pixel-style lights return, now with a 3D glow that adds to its modern style.
With the Ioniq 3, Hyundai is growing its electric range and bringing more style to small EVs.
