KATHMANDU: Mahindra is set to introduce its new 7-seater electric SUV, the XEV 9S, in India on November 27.
The upcoming SUV will be built on Mahindra’s INGLO platform, which also underpins the XEV 9e. The XEV 9S will feature a three-row layout with seating for seven passengers.
The model is expected to be the production version of the electric XUV700, which has been seen testing several times. It is likely to get a bold design inspired by the XEV 9e, featuring L-shaped LED DRLs connected by a full-width light bar and vertically stacked LED headlamps.
At the rear, the design could resemble the XUV700 but with EV-specific elements such as aero-optimized wheels and flush door handles. Inside, the SUV is expected to feature a premium cabin similar to the XEV 9e, including triple digital screens.
