KATHMANDU: MAW Vriddhi Autocorp, the authorized distributor of Changan and Deepal EV in Nepal, has been honored with the prestigious “Network Development Excellence Award” at the 2025 Changan Automobile Overseas Partner Conference in Chongqing, China.
Changan, China’s second-largest automaker, recognized MAW Vriddhi for its outstanding efforts in expanding and strengthening dealership networks across Nepal, delivering exceptional customer service and effectively promoting the Changan brand.
Deepal, the electric vehicle brand of Changan, recently celebrated its first anniversary in Nepal, achieving remarkable success with over 800 vehicles sold and a network of more than 100 charging stations established.
Four Deepal models—S07, S07 L, E07, and L07—are currently available in the Nepali market.
Issuing a statement, MAW Vriddhi has expressed pride in this accolade from Changan, China’s oldest car manufacturer, and reaffirmed its commitment to providing world-class products and superior customer service.
Earlier, MAW Vriddhi also received the Shangrilla New Energy Development Award from Changan for its contributions to long-term energy sustainability and eco-friendly transportation.
Deepal EVs have quickly gained popularity in Nepal primarily due to their attractive and advanced technology. Designed in Turin, Italy, known as the hub for automotive design, Deepal EVs feature over 10 industry-first innovations, including Gesture Control, AR-HUD and a Sunflower Touchscreen, making the brand highly successful within just a year of its launch.
