KATHMANDU: The delivery of Nammi’s compact electric SUV, Vigo, has officially begun. MAW Vriddhi, the authorized distributor of Dongfeng Nammi vehicles in Nepal has started handing over units to customers who booked the model during the NADA Auto Show held last August.
According to MAW Vriddhi CEO Prashan Pant, the vehicles have arrived from China and are being handed over to customers in phases. “The Vigo units brought from China have reached Kathmandu, and delivery is now underway,” Pant said.
The Nammi Vigo, introduced as one of the most affordable compact electric SUVs in Nepal, is available in two variants — E2 and E2 Plus — equipped with 44.94 kWh and 51.87 kWh battery packs respectively. Both models feature a 99 kW motor.
The E2 variant is priced at Rs 3.899 million, while the E2 Plus costs Rs 4.199 million. The E2 Plus offers a larger battery, a moon-roof, and additional features. The WLTP range is 300 km for the E2 and 350 km for the E2 Plus.
The model also includes a segment-first dual-section “Heaven and Earth” split tailgate and offers 190 mm of ground clearance, enhancing practicality for Nepali roads.
