KATHMANDU: TVS Nepal has introduced a new variant lineup of the Ronin motorcycle in the Nepali market.

Jagdamba Motors, the authorized distributor of TVS in Nepal, has launched three new color variants of the neo-retro Ronin. These include Lightning Black, Magma Red, and the special Agonda Edition.

The Lightning Black and Magma Red variants are priced at Rs 429,900. The Agonda Edition is priced at Rs 439,900. These prices are lower than the previous Ronin variant, which was priced at Rs 459,900.

The lower pricing comes after the removal of some features. The new variants do not get dual-channel ABS, front visor, and SmartXonnect connectivity. Instead, they come with a single-channel ABS setup.

The Ronin is positioned between a commuter and an adventure motorcycle. It features a scrambler-style design and a relaxed riding posture. It is suitable for both daily city rides and long-distance travel.

The Agonda Edition stands out with its unique styling. It is inspired by Goa’s Agonda Beach and features a silver-white finish with red and blue stripes and special badging. Lightning Black gets an all-black theme, while Magma Red offers a more premium red finish.

In terms of features, the Ronin still offers an asymmetric digital instrument cluster, rain and urban ABS modes, slipper clutch, Glide Through Technology (GTT), full LED lighting, and USD front forks.

The motorcycle is powered by a 225.9cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled, fuel-injected engine. It produces 20.4 PS of power and 19.9 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox, tuned for both city and highway riding.
